My first attempt at vegan jerky
I used the following:
-tofu -soy sauce -vinegar -liquid smoke -cayenne pepper -garlic powder -ground ginger
I cut the tofu into strips (and it broke a bit into pieces) and made a marinade with everything else. Put the tofu in a container, with the marinade, and left it in the refrigerator overnight.

I won an award
After all the harassment I’ve received from writing Student arrested on rape charge, an article in The Maroon about a Loyola student being charged with simple rape, I received an award for it.
The Louisiana Press Association named it third in the category of Best News Story.
I suppose I do, indeed, have a place in journalism.
